Where you’ll work:
Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.
You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

This role in a nutshell:
The role sits within Commercial Supplier Management in the Pillar 2 Finance team, reporting to the Head of Commercial Supplier Management. You will be working cross functionally with our accounts payable team and S2P platform manager on a day to day basis, an expert in P2P practices, driving positive change in our processes, collaborating across multiple business functions and maturing our P2P agenda within the finance environment.
Your key outcomes will be:
Supplier Onboarding: You will be accountable for all aspects of supplier onboarding, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, key decision making, issues and risk resolution.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, reducing the risk of fraud and non-compliance.
Process Ownership: Design, develop, maintain and optimise processes within the P2P lifecycle including the development of a governance framework. Supporting the Senior Manager on developing and implementing a strategic roadmap, to improve and sustain effective P2P practices and standards that meet OVO’s current and future business needs, as well as improving business performance and cost efficiency.
Risk Management: implementation of financial controls for P2P processes, working collaboratively with the Senior Supplier Resilience Manager to build and maintain the P2P Risk & Controls Matrix.
Value Creation: Optimising value by enabling opportunities from the new Ivalua source-to-pay platform. You will drive process and cost efficiencies through implementing process improvements shaped by data insights utilising Ivalua’s reporting suite.
Financial Reporting & MI: Support the development and implementation of a strategic dashboard to feed into the MI reporting cycle, ensuring that agreed spend, risk & controls, and value data is collected, analysed and recorded.
Data Analysis: Develop better visibility and controls through data management and sharing routines to inform value data-led decision making for the business. Support the Procurement and Supplier Management teams in optimising OVO’s supplier base through improved reporting from Ivalua supplier data to reduce complexity and cost. Utilising Ivalua as a data source to highlight value optimisation, key insights, and trends.
Automation/AI: Play a key part in improving processes efficiently. You will work closely with the S2P Platform Manager and Workday teams to develop and implement automation enhancements, as well as evaluating the use of AI automation and other technological advances across our P2P systems.
Central Buying Team: Lead and shape the buying team services including purchase requisitions and ordering, invoicing, and receipt of goods & services.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage across multiple business areas and key stakeholders, supporting seamless interactions with the end to end P2P lifecycle. Supporting change management by advocating for platform adoption, communicating the value of the platform and gathering feedback from users to enhance functionality and build stakeholder confidence.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of P2P and central buying colleagues. Develop and support colleagues focusing on team performance, fostering a culture of cross collaboration and communication to deliver against our core objectives and company goals. Be the principal source of knowledge for the P2P management lifecycle.

We’ll pay you between £43,000 and £50,000, depending on your specific skills and experience.
