We want to create a place where people love to work. A place where everyone belongs. That means taking real steps to build a culture that’s inclusive.

An important part of these steps was the launch of our Belonging Networks: inclusion and diversity groups – led by our people, for our people. These networks cover race and ethnicity, gender equality, religion and beliefs, accessibility, mental health, neurodiversity, age, and every LGBTQ+ identity. And we now publish a Belonging Report every year, to share our progress on this journey to true inclusivity. You can read our latest report here.

Once you’ve passed probation, you’ll be in line to pick up lots of lovely perks.

You’ll get 25 days’ holiday every year (plus a day off for your birthday!), and the option to buy more holiday if you like – or sell some. We’ll also chip in an extra 4% of your salary towards a computer, bike, health plan, ISA savings, and lots more. What’s not to love?!

There’s also a yearly bonus (when we hit our targets). And you’ll benefit from our pension scheme, including a matched employer contribution of 5% of your salary.

We run team volunteering days to give our people a chance to give back to our communities. On our Plan Zero team days, we’ve been working with our charity partner, The Wildlife Trusts, to take care of natural habitats.

We also run lots of projects to help communities across the globe with our own charity, the OVO Foundation. Whether that’s helping break the cycle of youth homelessness in the UK or powering health clinics in rural Kenya with solar panels, we believe in giving back.

We work together, transparently

Working together is the only way we’ll achieve our vision. That’s why we use Just3Things, which was developed within OVO. It helps everyone see what their colleagues are working on, and how they can contribute – making it easy to collaborate, find information, and ask questions.

The Just3Things OKR software helped us save more than £3 million a year in lost productivity – and it’s now used by other organisations like Deloitte and the NHS.

Our lovely office spaces

We’re all about flexible working, but many of us enjoy coming together with our teams, as well. We have offices across the UK – all with a relaxed, comfy feel, and plenty of breakout areas and chillout sofas. Here are a couple of our favourites. We love our Bristol HQ and it was named one of the country’s best office spaces in 2018. Hey, it’s even got a treehouse.
